New features, new product lines, and award-winning solutions define 2025
LANSDALE, PA (JANUARY 30, 2026)
At Keystone Technologies, innovation is never an end in itself—it’s a way to make lighting simpler, smarter, and more reliable for the people who install and use it every day. In 2025, that focus—built around our Core Values of Challenging Convention and Wowing Customers—drove meaningful enhancements across Keystone’s core product lines, expanded its reach into new applications, and earned widespread industry recognition.
The year’s progress can be summed up in three areas: smarter features added to trusted products, new solutions for fast-growing channels, and innovation. With our concentration on continuous improvement and creating unique experiences for all our customers, these details illustrate our commitment to those Core Values each and every day.

Smarter Features That Simplify Emergency Lighting
In 2025, Keystone continued refining emergency lighting solutions with a focus on ease of installation, reliability, and peace of mind.
The introduction of autoBC™ reimagined emergency battery backup by eliminating one of the most common field frustrations: confirming emergency functionality after installation. With the battery placed in sleep mode before we ship the fixture, contractors simply wire the fixture normally. When power is applied for the first time, autoBC automatically activates the battery—removing the need to disconnect after wiring and verifying function, or waiting for a charge in order to test. The result is a faster, cleaner installation process with fewer headaches.
Keystone also expanded integrated emergency options across several core fixtures. Emergency versions of the Back-Lit Panel, Ova Surface Mount, and Advanta Recessed downlight give contractors more flexibility when upgrading or retrofitting existing spaces. With fixture, driver, and emergency components all coming from Keystone, compatibility is guaranteed.
The award-winning Emergency Back-Lit Panel features an integrated test switch and LED indicator built directly into the frame, so—aside from a built-in emergency backup—there’s no need to add a test button. The Ova Surface Mount EMRG combines a sleek, low-profile design with 3W emergency output, 5 CCT Color Select, 90 CRI, and combination dimming compatibility. Meanwhile, the updated AdvantaEMRG downlight adds 5 CCT and 5 selectable wattages, pre-wired with a Keystone SmartSafe® driver and battery for 90 minutes of illumination. These features ensure faster installation and better aesthetics for the project.
Expanding the Lineup: Sign, Outdoor, and Controls Solutions
In addition, Keystone broadened its portfolio with purpose-built products with advanced features, tailored for a variety of applications.
• The simplest, fastest sign solution: Our portfolio of Sign Hero products added Sign Hero® Direct Wire, which simplifies sign lighting by eliminating external drivers and allowing direct line-voltage connection: just mount the tubes, link them together with the supplied cables, and connect to power. Faster installs, fewer failure points, and cleaner cabinets make it an ideal solution for sign maintenance and upgrades.
• Reliable and versatile solutions for service stations: Outdoor expansion included the rugged Multipurpose Outdoor Luminaire, designed for canopies, walkways, and parking structures, as well as the Gas Station Canopy Fixture, engineered for bright, uniform illumination in demanding 24/7 environments. Both offer field-selectable wattage and CCT for on-site flexibility, as well as rugged construction that ensures dependability and long life.
• Wireless control commissioning at the speed of light: Keystone also advanced connected lighting with SmartLoop™ for iPad, introducing faster, more precise commissioning. Features like PulseLINK identification—which uses a pulsing flashlight for enabling Bluetooth in individual fixtures—automatic naming, and streamlined grouping reduce labor time and eliminate guesswork on large-scale projects, making smart lighting accessible without complexity.
Innovation Guided by Values—and Recognized by the Industry
These advancements reflect Keystone’s commitment to challenging convention and wowing customers with practical innovation. That approach earned significant industry recognition in 2025, including honors at the LightFair Innovation Awards and accolades for products such as the Sentinel Wall Mount Cylinder, Emergency T8 Tube, and XFit Bollard. Keystone was also recognized by tED magazine for marketing and partnership excellence.
These products are just a few of our key introductions. (Want more? Contact us!) Together, these achievements made 2025 a standout year and set the stage for what’s next. As always, Keystone remains focused on delivering installer-friendly solutions that make lighting simpler, smarter, and more dependable.
