Sign Hero Direct Wire

Direct Wire is a socket-free solution for both new-build and retrofit sign applications, its lamp fully integrated with a power supply. Just connect line voltage to our waterproof leader cord and you’re done in minutes—no special expertise required. Spring-loaded brackets are available for mounting lamps to the sign frame, too.

Direct Wire features

With a universal 120V input and full 360-degree capabilities, Direct Wire is easy to install without specialized expertise. It eliminates reliance on old wiring, and with an internal driver, you can run 150 feet of lamps on one power feed. No complex module calculations are necessary. Add in features such as Power and Color Select—offering 3 power outputs and 3 CCT—and it’s designed to create the light you want.

With advanced optical lenses over individual LEDs, you get optimal light spread within the sign with no hot spots—just smooth, even light distribution to make every sign look great.

Traditional Sign Hero

Bypass the ballast for the fastest LED upgrade. Traditional Sign Hero is equipped with our DirectDrive technology, which eliminates the need for an external driver or ballast while still allowing use of the existing sockets, improving energy savings.

Traditional Sign Hero features

Sign Hero features rotatable R17d end caps, ensuring that the tube can be adjusted regardless of socket orientation, and is available in 180- and 360-degree rotations. It also has Color Select, so you can pick the appropriate CCT for your application. Models with dedicated CCT are available.

Easy installation and setup

The ballast bypass design saves time and is hassle-free for field technicians, so installation and upgrades take just minutes. In addition, Sign Hero features rotatable R17d end caps, ensuring that the tube can be adjusted regardless of socket orientation.

Also in Contractor Prime

Sign Hero is available in an economical Contractor Prime version. It features Color Select, a wide range of sizes, and a built-in Keystone driver, but with a different optic distribution. It’s a good solution for color- and dark-faced signs.
