Keystone Technologies is expanding its Sign Hero family with Sign Hero Direct Wire, a socket-free LED solution that’s designed for speedy installation in both new builds and retrofits.
Direct Wire installs easily without specialized expertise. Installers can mount lamps directly to the cabinet using spring-loaded mounting accessories that provide a stable and secure bond to sign frames, so you can design and install in new cabinet builds in minutes—instead of the much longer installation times formerly required.
Retrofitting? Use our brackets if you’ve got a broken or damaged socket, or feel free to use your existing sockets as placeholders if they’re in good shape.
Installers can connect up to 150 feet of lamps on a single feed. There’s no complicated calculations to figure out the number of modules and drivers you need.
The new lamps feature Power and Color Select technology for flexible output (3 power levels, 3 color temperatures) and waterproof integrated connectors that prevent weather infiltration. With a universal 120V input, the product makes it easy to connect to power, and its 360° rotatable design allow installers to direct light where it’s needed.
Moreover, with optical lenses covering each LED chip, hot spots are eliminated. Light is bright and even.
Traditional Sign Hero remains ideal for retrofit projects, offering ballast-bypass DirectDrive technology for energy savings and fast installation using existing sockets.
Keystone also offers Sign Hero Contractor Prime, a cost-effective choice for color- and dark-faced signs.
All versions of Sign Hero are available in lengths ranging from 18 to 120 inches, with models offering 360° rotation. Traditional Sign Hero can be specified in individual 4000K, 5000K, and 6500K color temperatures, and in 180° versions.
