Innovative fixture combines transformative, energy-saving technologies in a single, streamlined fixture.
LANSDALE, PA (MAY 4, 2026)—
They’re called NightTrim and OpticSwitch.
No, they’re not superheroes. But they do deliver some seriously powerful capabilities.
These Keystone innovations are at the heart of a new 100W LED floodlight that brings together enhanced energy savings and field-adjustable light distribution in one streamlined solution. Designed to simplify installation while improving performance, the fixture delivers intelligent control and on-the-fly optical flexibility—without added systems or complexity.

NightTrim, a patent-pending photocell technology, enhances a standard photocell with an algorithm-driven control that automatically reduces light output during periods of low activity. After approximately five hours of nighttime operation, the fixture dims to 50% output, then gradually returns to full brightness roughly 90 minutes before sunrise. The system recalibrates every 10 days to account for seasonal changes in night length—no programming, time clocks, or networked controls required.

OpticSwitch technology adds another layer of flexibility by enabling contractors to adjust the floodlight’s NEMA distribution directly on the fixture. For standard symmetrical optic distributions, such as 5H x 5V or 6H x 6V, this technology is well suited for selecting different distributions for appropriate coverage. An integrated DIP switch allows quick selection between multiple beam patterns. The result is faster installation, easier on-site adjustments, and greater adaptability across applications.

Together, these technologies address a growing demand for lighting solutions that balance performance with simplicity.
The floodlight is particularly qualified for energy rebate-driven projects, where reducing power consumption without adding system complexity is critical.
The introduction of OpticSwitch reflects an intentional expansion of Keystone’s optical platform strategy, allowing modifications to light distribution so one fixture can be used in multiple applications. It prioritizes flexibility and speed in the field.

The 100W floodlight also features selectable wattage (100/90/80W), selectable color temperature (3000K/4000K/5000K), 0–10V dimming, and a durable bronze housing. It operates on 120–277V input and includes both trunnion and slipfitter mounting options.
By combining adaptive dimming and adjustable optics in one fixture, Keystone delivers a practical solution for projects that demand efficiency, versatility, and ease of use—without compromise. That’s Light Made Easy®. And yes—you could call it a little heroic.
