LANSDALE, PA (APRIL 7, 2026)—It’s dimming that’s as easy as toggling a light switch.
Keystone Technologies has introduced a new Bi-Level External Driver (Type C) LED Tube, a flexible platform combining Color Select tubes with a universal Bi-Level and Power Select driver. Designed for commercial retrofit and upgrade projects, the system simplifies inventory while giving contractors and end users greater control over brightness and color.
The platform allows users to adjust brightness from a standard wall switch—no sensors or hardwired dimming systems required. By combining Power Select with bi-level dimming, the system offers up to nine brightness configurations, helping optimize light levels and energy usage across a range of applications.

Inventory and product selection are simplified through a universal driver platform. With just two driver models—2-lamp and 4-lamp compatible with 2-foot, 3-foot, and 4-foot Keystone T8 tubes, distributors can significantly reduce the number of SKUs required to support retrofit projects.
The driver-based bi-level dimming allows installers to select a baseline brightness of 50%, 70%, or 100% using easily selectable dip switches on the driver. Once installed, end users can toggle between full brightness and the selected level simply by switching the wall switch off and on within five seconds. This makes the system ideal for spaces where lighting needs vary throughout the day.

The platform also features Keystone Power Select technology, enabling installers to choose 100%, 80%, or 60% outputs to fine-tune lumen levels and energy consumption. Combined with Keystone Color Select technology, which provides five selectable color temperatures (3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6500K), the system delivers exceptional on-site flexibility. Dedicated 4000K models are also available.
The system also includes 0–10V dimming compatibility and a 12V auxiliary output, expanding integration possibilities for advanced lighting control applications.
The Bi-Level Type C LED Tube system will serve as Keystone’s Type C platform going forward, streamlining the company’s external driver portfolio. It brings Light Made Easy® to a whole new category of tubes.
