DC Wiring – Secondary
These emergency backups directly power the LED modules on the secondary side of the driver, bypassing the normal driver to maintain illumination. They’re designed to work with virtually any fixture type using existing Class 2 LED systems.
Automatic battery connection
With Keystone’s autoBC design feature, the emergency fixture reaches the job site pre-wired and ready to go — just connect to current and autoBC will engage the battery. It’s included in our Back-Lit Panel with Integrated Emergency Backup, and standard on a variety of our 10W SmartSafe backups.
DC flying leads: Easy installation
Connect to these backups simply and quickly to add emergency lighting solutions with maximum flexibility. Whether you’re working with new fixtures or retrofitting, Keystone backups are designed to work with virtually any fixture type using existing Class 2 systems. Units are equipped with 2-in-1 test switch/indicator lights. Compatible with numerous Keystone products, including retrofit troffer kits, vapor tights, strips, wraps, and various wall packs.
DC conduit: Emergency backup for core commercial fixtures
The protective characteristics of conduit offer resistance to dust or water intrusion and security in exposed environments. Several Keystone products, including models of our back-lit panels, center baskets, and linear high bays, utilize conduit for backups to meet code in applications such as warehouses and parking garages.
Standard terminal block: A secure, convenient connection
With its pre-mounted, organized terminals, standard terminal block wiring offers easy installation and simple maintenance, with a uniformity ideal for spec-grade spaces. Keystone’s slim strip fixtures and sleek Linta architectural linear fixture are compatible with this form of connection, supporting discreet emergency backup additions.
AC options
Keystone has a variety of AC options available, including backups with flying leads and conduit, as well as special purpose backups.
